Drs. Devin and Alex are committed to excellence in serving their community. They are members of the Capital District Continuum for Advanced Dental Education and believe in life long learning to provide the best possible care for their patients. Their inspiration to practice dentistry began with a desire to serve others. Both doctors were awarded the American Dental Association’s Certificate for International Volunteer Service in 2018. They served as leaders of Stony Brook University’s School of Dental Medicine's Dental Mission to Madagascar for many years. These varied experiences in dental education and service have shaped them into caring and experienced practitioners who are excited to serve their local communities in Saratoga Springs and Gloversville.
Dr. Devin S. Harrison spent his early years in Gloversville and has fond memories of playing soccer, running track, and performing music at GHS. He continued his education locally at Union College in Schenectady, earning a B.S. in Biochemistry. The following year, he moved to Long Island where he joined his brother, Dr. Brendon Harrison, at Stony Brook University’s School of Dental Medicine. He earned his D.D.S there in 2014. Dr. Devin became a Tar Heel that summer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to complete a General Practice Residency. He is thrilled to be back in New York working in a community so near and dear to his heart!
Dr. Alexandra Porcu is from Long Island and graduated from Syosset Senior High School. During her grade school years, she became a United States Figure Skating Association Double Gold Medalist. Continuing her love of skating, she served as Captain of the synchronized skating team while studying at Georgetown University. She also served as President of the Caring For Children With Cancer Club and studied genetics as a Howard Hughes Research Scholar.
Dr. Alex received her B.S. in Biology and a Minor in Studio Art. Carrying with her the Georgetown motto “Cura Personalis,” meaning “care of the whole person”, she pursued her desire to help others at Stony Brook University’s School of Dental Medicine. There, as a Paul Ambrose Research Scholar, she worked to improve access to care for under-served patients. She earned her D.D.S. with Distinction in Research, Distinction in Removable Prosthodontics, the Humanitarian Award, and the Senior Student Dental Award. Dr. Alex is thrilled to provide you and your family with truly comprehensive care, so you can enjoy your smile for years to come!
Drs. Devin and Alex were drawn to dentistry to be in the service of others. They have remained committed to this purpose, near and far.

Meet the Saratoga Springs and Gloversville, NY Harrison Family Dentists team! Some of our team members have been with the practice for almost 30 years, always providing compassionate and patient-centered care. We are a group that shares the common goal of supporting our patient community, and making dental health care as accessible as possible.
From your first visit, we want you to feel like part of the family. Our team prioritizes your comfort, and you can have 100% confidence in the quality of our services. Our comprehensive exam is extensive and includes an in-depth interview of your history as well as detailed intraoral photographs. We do a treatment planning conference with each new patient to discuss findings including risk factors for disease, worn dentition, home care, function and esthetic concerns. From there our front desk can set up future appointments and answer any questions!
When it came to the design of our office, we considered each step of your appointment. We offer a welcoming waiting room with a dedicated play space, spa-like comfort items for treatments, and most importantly: a caring team!
At Harrison Family Dentists, we’re excited about and invested in advancements in dental technology. We keep patient records on a secure, digital platform, so you can access your appointment and treatment history from the comfort of your home. We also utilize digital radiography so images of your teeth and gums go directly to your patient profile. Additionally, we use CBCT technology to capture detailed visuals of your mouth. CBCT stands for cone-beam computed tomography. An imaging device rotates around you, capturing data using a cone-shaped x-ray. In less than a minute, about 150-200 images are taken from a variety of angles. The data captured are then used to reconstruct a 3D image of your teeth so we have a precise, high definition picture of your mouth. Our office also has two cutting-edge intra-oral scanners, the iTero and Medit. Both of these scanners capture digital images of your smile, so you can say goodbye to goopy impressions!
